Akory! I am Emma, a multidisciplinary engineer, who graduated from MIT in 2023. Since then, I've been dedicated to blending my background in mechE with a commitment to impactful and sustainable design, and cultural exchange. This website is a constantly growing collection of projects that I have worked on / am still working on. I am building it from Madagascar, where I am currently serving as Peace Corps Agriculture volunteer (if you speak Malagasy, alefa messagy!!). I update the site every two weeks, which is as often as I get Wi-Fi to access it.
When I'm not farming or building boats, you can find me exchanging recipes with my friends, swimming in the ocean with my dog Fifi, or begging the local fishermen to take us out to sea. My hobbies also include playing volleyball, competing in tetris tournaments, learning bachata, thrifting, traveling, and playing the ukulele.
